Lot 164: A Vintage-Style Black Plastic Corrugated Dustbin with Domed Lid
A vintage-style black plastic dustbin of cylindrical form with corrugated walls. The bin is fitted with a matching domed lid featuring a central integral handle and moulded X-shaped reinforcement ribs. The lid is embossed in two locations with the safety warning NO HOT ASHES in capital letters. Two heavy-duty black plastic side handles are secured to the body with metal bolts and plates, which are visible on the interior surface. The item bears several paper auction labels, including those from Liskeard Auction Rooms for lot numbers 156 and 164, and a handwritten descriptive tag identifying it as a black plastic dustbin.
