Lot 207: Two Metal Hearth Items Comprising a Rectangular Fire Pit and a Cast Iron Fire Grate
This lot consists of two functional metal items intended for domestic hearth or garden use. The first item is a rectangular fire pit or brazier manufactured from steel or iron with a black finish. It is accompanied by a conforming pyramidal wire mesh spark guard with a metal frame. The second item is a traditional fire grate or log basket constructed from cast iron. It is designed as a rectangular cradle with vertical tines to the front and rear, supported on four integral feet. There are no maker’s marks visible on either item. Small white adhesive labels are attached to both pieces.
