Lot 276: An Assortment of Household Ceramics and Glassware including Woods Ware and a Roger Lascelles Mantle Clock
An assortment of various household and decorative items featuring a mantle clock by Roger Lascelles, London, and ceramics by Woods Ware, England. The collection includes a large white glazed ceramic mixing bowl and a ceramic mug with blue banded decoration. A notable ceramic piece is a large white serving platter, the reverse of which bears a printed blue mark for the Powder Blue pattern by Woods Ware, England. Also present are white dinner plates with dark blue rims and a rectangular white dish decorated with black snowflake-style motifs. Glassware comprises a clear leaf-shaped textured plate and a deep ruby-toned stemmed glass bowl. The cream-coloured mantle clock features a dial marked Roger Lascelles London with Roman numerals. A small white porcelain oval dish contains a central gold-toned embossed medallion and carries a gold foil label on the base reading 24ct Gold.
