Lot 354: A Collection of Militaria, Curios, and Collectables including WWII Style German Insignia and Motoring Ephemera
An assortment of collectables and decorative items contained within a cardboard lot tray. The lot features a navy blue woollen beret mounted with an embroidered green cloth badge for Berkhamsted School depicting a tree and the motto VELLE EST VALERE. Affixed to the beret are several metal pins including a WWII-style German eagle and swastika pin, a twin SS rune pin, a star-shaped medal with a central lion motif, and various other badges and thimbles. Decorative objects comprise several carved wooden elephants of various sizes, two brass-cased quartz mantle clocks, and a large rose quartz specimen. Also included is a Victorian-style ceramic boot ornament with two-tone brown glaze, a ceramic bowl with blue underglaze decoration to the interior, and a small vintage-style mohair teddy bear. Small metalware and ephemera include a vintage J. and H. Wilson S.P. Celebrated Snuff tin, an Elastoplast first dressing box, and several UK Motor Car Fuel Ration books with associated motoring documents.
