A varied group of commemorative and decorative ceramics including nursery ware and mid-century tea wares. The collection features a Michael Jackson circular decorative plate with multi-image transfer-printed portraits across various eras of his career, set against a blue celestial background and housed in its original cardboard box. Included is an assortment of Royal Vale bone china tea plates of square form with scalloped edges and gilded rims, decorated with polychrome transfer-printed scenes of a thatched cottage within floral gardens. These plates bear the backstamp for Royal Vale, a product of Ridgway Potteries Ltd. The lot further contains Copeland Spode ceramics, comprising a large nursery plate titled And The Moon Sees Me featuring a teddy bear illustration, and multiple saucers or small bowls in the Summer Days pattern, characterized by a pale blue ground and central wildflower floral sprays.
