Lot 419: A Collection of Vintage Ceramics and Glassware, Including Art Deco Style Items
An assortment of vintage ceramics and glassware. The collection features a large earthenware jug decorated in an Art Deco style with hand-painted scrolled and floral motifs in turquoise, yellow, orange, and black. Also included is a ceramic tureen and cover with a square-stepped handle and floral spray decoration. Further ceramic items consist of a lidded sugar bowl and a small cup with saucer, both featuring geometric Art Deco and lotus flower patterns in pink, blue, and green. The glassware includes a bright green moulded glass piece, two clear pressed glass moulds—one with fruit motifs and the other with foliate designs—and several stems of glassware, including hock glasses. A small terracotta lidded pot completes the group. No maker’s marks are visible on the pieces shown.
