Lot 421: An Assortment of Decorative Ceramics, Metalware, and Household Objects
An assortment of miscellaneous decorative objects, ceramics, and metalware. The group includes a porcelain commemorative plate marking the centenary of H.M. The Queen Mother (1900-2000), decorated with a central transfer-printed portrait and a pink floral border. The collection further comprises a stack of white ceramic dinnerware featuring blue floral transfer-printed patterns, a cast silver-toned metal dish in the form of a leaf, a brass-toned metal tankard, and several ceramic and glass vases with floral motifs. Also included are various small bowls, an ornate mirror, and a selection of decorative trinkets. A boxed Servizio da Torta cake set and a wooden tray with a brass gallery are situated in the background. The items are housed in a red plastic British Bakeries crate.
