Lot 429: A Group of Coastal and Nautical Themed Decorative Items
An assortment of decorative objects featuring a coastal and nautical theme. The collection includes a large ceramic pitcher decorated with repeating rows of stylized fish in blue, grey, and brown tones, finished with a teal-coloured handle and a striped base. Also present is a ceramic fish-form vessel or candle holder with an open-mouthed design and a mottled beige and brown glaze. The lot further comprises a wooden shorebird figure on a metal support and wooden plinth, a small wooden model sailboat with a blue-painted sail, and a blue-glazed ceramic shell figurine. Decorative signage includes a heart-shaped hanging plaque inscribed BEACH SWEET BEACH, a fish-shaped plaque reading Beach, and a freestanding wooden BEACH word block detailed with a starfish and rope. A lot tag from Liskeard Auction Rooms, number 429, is attached to the handle of the pitcher.
