Lot 460: A collection of seven blue and white glazed porcelain figurines and groups in the Dresden style
This collection consists of seven glazed porcelain figurines and figural groups, designed in the 18th-century Dresden rococo style. Each piece is decorated in underglaze blue with varied floral and patterned motifs, accented with gilt highlights. The lot features a central figural group depicting a courting couple seated on a scroll-work garden bench, flanked by two standing attendant figures. Also included are two child musician figures, one playing a mandolin and the other an accordion. The set is completed by two standing couples on integral bases, one single standing male figure in a frock coat, and one seated male figure. No factory marks, model numbers, or decorator marks are visible on the exterior or visible base edges. Based on the style and decoration, these are likely 20th-century decorative pieces produced in the Continental European or Japanese tradition.
