Lot 474: An Assortment of Seven Pieces of Cut Glass and Decorative Glassware
A collection of seven pieces of assorted cut glass and decorative glassware. The lot comprises a square-bodied decanter with a diamond-cut pattern and a matching globular stopper with hobnail cutting. Also included is a large circular serving bowl featuring a cross-hatch diamond-cut body and a starburst-cut base, which currently bears an auction lot label marked 474. A smaller circular bowl with a similar diamond pattern and a starburst base is also present. The collection features a clear glass quatrefoil-shaped divided serving dish with four sections and a textured scrolling rim. A tall cylindrical vase with vertical and cross-hatch cutting is included, alongside a tapered clear glass vase decorated with applied purple and amber-toned glass discs in a jewelled style. Completing the set is a small, dark-patinated cylindrical metal sleeve or cup with an embossed circular emblem. No maker’s marks or factory backstamps are visible on any of the pieces.
