Lot 538: Late Victorian Turquoise Enamel and Gold-Toned Metal Infinity Knot Brooch
An antique brooch featuring an interlocking figure-of-eight or infinity symbol design, a motif frequently used in Victorian lover’s knot jewellery. The item is constructed from gold-toned metal, featuring two loops finished in a pale turquoise-blue enamel. A thin, gold-toned wire is spirally wrapped around the enamelled components. The back of the brooch is fitted with a horizontal pin that extends slightly past the edge, secured with a traditional C-clasp. No hallmarks or maker’s marks were observed.
