Lot 682: A Large Antique Copper Preserve Pan and Two Pewter Measures
A lot comprising a large, shallow, circular preserve pan crafted from wrought copper. The pan features a rolled rim and a visible hand-hammered planished finish throughout the body. It is fitted with twin brass D-shaped handles, each secured to the body with three copper rivets. Also included are two graduated cylindrical measures made of pewter, each with a square-section handle. These items are characteristic of 19th to early 20th-century British domestic metalware. No maker marks or capacity stamps are visible on any of the pieces.
