Lot 703: A Rococo Revival Style Ceramic Lamp Base
A ceramic lamp base in the Rococo Revival style, likely adapted from a vase or centrepiece. The piece features a white-glazed body with reticulated scrolled sections and high-relief figures of putti. It is decorated with hand-painted polychrome floral sprays, including a central rose, and accented with green and crimson painted scrollwork. The lamp is fitted with a brass bayonet light socket and a modern white electrical cable with a UK three-pin plug. A paper auction label for Liskeard Auction Rooms, Lot 703, is adhered to the body. No manufacturer marks are visible.
