A large vintage English part dinner and tea service produced by Royal Cauldon in the Scenario pattern. The set is manufactured from Bristol Ironstone earthenware and features blue transfer-printed decoration on a white ground. The central design depicts various pastoral landscape scenes with trees, windmills, and rural figures, housed within an oval cartouche and surrounded by a repeating foliate and scroll-work border. Many pieces feature a raised beaded or gadrooned rim. The service comprises a teapot with lid, a lidded sugar bowl, an open sugar bowl, a cream jug, multiple teacups with matching saucers, a large oval serving platter, a lidded butter dish on a rectangular stand, a gravy boat on a fixed stand, and multiple stacks of dinner, dessert, and side plates. All pieces bear a blue printed backstamp to the base featuring a crown above the words Royal Cauldon, Bristol Ironstone, and the pattern name Scenario in cursive script.
