Lot 803: A mid-20th-century dark wood box footstool
A 20th-century storage footstool of rectangular form, constructed from dark-stained hardwood. The hinged lid features a padded top upholstered in brown leatherette, secured around the perimeter with brass-tone decorative upholstery tacks. The interior is divided into four equal-sized storage compartments and is fitted with twin fabric lid stays. The box is raised on four short, turned spindle-style feet. No manufacturer marks or labels are visible on the piece.
