Lot 884: A Pair of Contemporary Blue Painted Pine Three-Drawer Bedside Chests
A pair of contemporary three-drawer bedside chests, in the style of the Artiss Thyme model. Each chest is constructed from pine and finished in a vibrant mid-blue paint. The design features three drawers with simple fronts, each fitted with a single antiqued brass-effect cup handle. The carcase is supported by a shaped apron and bracket feet. The interior of the drawers reveals simple plank construction with unfinished pine secondary wood. There are small white inventory labels on the top surfaces. The pieces represent a contemporary country style, frequently used as bedside cabinets.
