Lot 955: A mid-century mahogany veneer chest of drawers in the style of Stag Minstrel
A mid-century mahogany veneer chest of drawers attributed to the Stag Minstrel range, featuring a configuration of four small drawers arranged in a single row above two full-width long drawers. The piece exhibits characteristic design features of the range, including rounded corners to the top and a recessed plinth base. The drawer fronts are finished in mahogany veneer. The hardware is mismatched, consisting of four brass-tone knobs to the upper drawers and four silver-tone drop-ring handles to the lower drawers. No maker labels or stamps are visible on the exterior or the interior of the partially open drawer. The unit bears two inventory stickers: a white label on the top marked 955 and a pink circular sticker on the bottom drawer marked 32.
