Lot 962: Two Georgian style mahogany pedestal wine tables
This lot consists of two mahogany pedestal wine tables of differing designs, both presented in the Georgian revival style. The first table features an oval-shaped top with a moulded scalloped edge, supported by a ring-turned pedestal on a tripod base with cabriole legs. The second table has a circular top with a simple moulded edge, resting on a turned pedestal with a fluted or reeded section, also supported by a tripod base with cabriole legs. Both pieces are constructed from mahogany and exhibit traditional furniture-making techniques consistent with mid-20th-century production. No maker marks are visible. A white adhesive lot tag numbered 962 is present on the top of the shaped table.
