Lot 551: A modern clear glass wine or sake decanter with an internal ice pocket
A contemporary mouth-blown clear glass decanter of bulbous, teardrop form with a wide flared neck. The vessel features an integral internal glass ice chamber or pocket, designed to chill contents such as wine or sake without dilution. This minimalist form is characteristic of modern European glassware designs, notably those attributed to Bottega Del Vino, as well as contemporary Japanese tableware. The neck bears a white adhesive auction label from Liskeard Auction Rooms for Lot 551. No manufacturer’s marks, etched signatures, or labels are visible to the body or base of the piece.
