Buyer's Premium:

This lot comprises three antique mechanical tools dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, typically used in sporting and domestic workshops. The first item is a bench-mounted cartridge roll turnover tool, a specialized device for hand-loading paper-cased shotgun cartridges. It is constructed from cast brass with iron and steel components, featuring a G-style screw clamp for mounting and a hand-operated crank with a turned dark wood handle. The second item is a pincer-action handheld saw set, used to adjust the angle of teeth on hand saws. It is made of cast iron or steel with a dark patinated finish and retains traces of original red paint on the interior of the handles. It features an adjustable rotating dial anvil stamped with numerals 1 through 10. The third item is a two-part manual casting mold, likely for lead or wax ornaments. The tool consists of a shallow cylindrical base and a matching plunger lid attached to a metal rod with a turned wooden handle. The interior of both mold halves is relief-carved with a decorative radial leaf or shell pattern. No maker’s marks are visible on the brass tool or the casting mold.
