The cast iron can opener is formed in the traditional Victorian bulls head pattern, featuring a stylised bovine head at the cutting end and a looped handle. The small measure is cast in a copper alloy with a bulbous body, flared rim, and a simple cast loop handle. The multi-purpose tool is made of cast iron and features a hammer face opposite a flared hatchet blade; the handle is embossed with the word LIVERPOOL in block lettering and includes a hanging hole at the terminal.
