Lot 787: A 20th Century British Colonial Style Hardwood and Rattan Inset Coffee Table
A 20th-century rectangular coffee table in the British Colonial style, constructed from stained hardwood. The top features a wooden frame with two inset glass panels. Positioned beneath each glass panel is a woven rattan surface featuring a central decorative diamond weave pattern. The table incorporates a full-width open storage shelf above two side-by-side drawers. Each drawer is fitted with a circular metal ring-pull handle. The piece is raised on a plinth base with low bracket feet. Several small white adhesive auction labels are present on the wood, including numbers 787 and 725. No maker’s marks are visible.
