Lot 816: A Regency Style Mahogany Twin Pedestal Extending Dining Table
A Regency style extending dining table featuring a figured mahogany veneered top. The top is decorated with a wide crossbanded border and boxwood and ebony stringing. It is of oval or D-end form when extended, showing seams for removable leaves. The table is supported by two pedestals, each having a central shaped upright on three splayed and reeded legs. The legs terminate in brass cap casters. This item is a mid-to-late 20th-century reproduction of a traditional Regency design.
