Lot 945: A trio of mid-20th-century dark stained oak nesting tables in the Jacobean Revival style
A trio of graduated nesting side tables constructed from dark stained oak. Each table features a rectangular top with canted corners and bevelled edges. The support structure consists of square-section legs with turned detailing and simple carved geometric cross motifs to the upper portions. The legs are connected by a rectangular stretcher base for added stability. The design is in the Jacobean Revival style, frequently produced in the United Kingdom during the mid-20th century. A small white adhesive inventory label is present on the top of the largest table.
