A Victorian cabinet of two-part construction, featuring highly figured burr walnut veneers throughout. The upper section is fitted with a fall-front door that opens to reveal a dark-stained interior, flanked by elaborately carved foliate and scroll-work side brackets. The lower section comprises a twin-door cupboard, with each door panel set within raised mouldings. The cabinet is designed in the Rococo Revival style, characterised by serpentine-profiled sides and ornate hand-carved details. Decorative metal escutcheons are present on the fall-front and lower doors. The item bears several white auction lot labels, one of which is numbered 979. No maker marks are visible.
