Lot 985: Late 20th Century Traditional Mahogany-Finished Storage Headboard
A traditional style storage headboard featuring a reddish-brown mahogany-toned finish over wood and wood veneers. The design incorporates a central recessed panel decorated with a brass-effect metal swing handle. This central section is flanked on either side by open rectangular storage cubbies. The headboard has a rectangular profile with a slightly rounded top edge. A small white rectangular inventory label with the number 586 is present on the upper left of the front panel, and two further illegible labels are located on the lower edge. There are no visible maker’s marks or manufacturer attributions.
Proportionally sized to accommodate a standard double mattress.
