Lot 32: A Set of Woodworking Tools comprising a Box Joint Jig and Precision Mitre Gauge
This lot features a set of modern precision woodworking accessories, consisting of a box joint and mortise and tenon system and a universal mitre gauge. The box joint jig includes a silver anodised aluminium extrusion fence and a series of black plastic setup blocks. These blocks are marked with the letters JW and various fractional measurements including 1/2, 3/8, 1/4, 3/4, and 5/16, as well as the number 8. The universal mitre gauge is constructed with a long guide bar and a stainless steel protractor head. The head features a scalloped edge for positive angle indexing and an engraved numerical scale from 0 to 60 degrees in both directions. The set is accompanied by several clear plastic bags containing assembly hardware, including hex bolts, washers, and Allen keys. A handwritten note included with the lot specifies the components as a 450mm box joint jig system and a universal table saw mitre gauge intended for use with table saws, router tables, and band saws.
