Lot 123: An Assortment of Four Earthenware and Terracotta Garden Planters
A collection of four garden planters of various materials and sizes. The group features a large, deep bell-shaped earthenware pot with a textured, weathered finish and a relief-moulded scrolling foliate band around the rim. Also included are two terracotta planters of traditional flared form with wide, flat rims, showing significant outdoor weathering. The lot is completed by a smaller, rustic earthenware pot, heavily encrusted with moss and lichen. The pots contain a variety of contents including Erigeron karvinskianus (Mexican fleabane), dried contorted branches, and artificial floral stems. A small white adhesive lot tag bearing the number 123 is visible on the rim of the front-most pot.
