Lot 147: Two Assorted Reconstituted Stone Cherub Wall Brackets
Two architectural wall brackets or corbels featuring cherub motifs, cast in reconstituted stone with a weathered finish. The first bracket depicts a winged cherub mask with outspread feathered wings, tapering to a foliate and grape-cluster base. The second bracket features a cherub head set within a deep scalloped or shell-form niche, finished with a scroll-and-leaf motif at the bottom. Both items have a grainy texture and a light grey to yellowish patina consistent with garden or architectural salvage. No maker’s marks are visible. Both items bear handwritten stock labels and one carries a printed HCP Auctions South West tag.
