Lot 193: A Pair of Long Weathered Timber Garden Planters
A pair of rectangular garden planters or troughs, constructed from horizontal timber planks, likely pressure-treated softwood. The timber has acquired a natural grey aged patina from prolonged outdoor exposure. The planters are filled with soil and contain an assortment of neglected garden plants, including red-stemmed shrubs, dried grasses, and various weeds. One image shows a dormant or dead woody branch within the planter, featuring a yellow plastic tie. A white adhesive lot tag numbered 193 is attached to the rim of one planter, referencing Fonsie Mealy Auctioneers.
