Lot 203: A late 19th or early 20th-century garden bench with cast iron ends and hardwood slats
A weathered garden bench of traditional form, featuring cast iron ends with scrolled and foliate decorative motifs. The seat and backrest are constructed from horizontal hardwood slats, which are bolted to the cast metal frame. The metalwork retains visible remnants of green paint. No maker’s marks, stamps, or foundry names were observed on the metal frame or wooden components. The design is consistent with late 19th to 20th-century British garden furniture.
