Lot 329: A Collection of Audio Cassette Tapes and a House of Crafts Creative Candle Making Kit
An assortment of mixed media and hobby items comprising a large collection of audio cassette tapes and a vintage craft kit. The audio cassettes include both commercial releases and home-recorded tapes with handwritten labels. Visible brands include TDK, Sony, Hanimex, and Imation. Notable handwritten titles include a Radiohead album compilation (The Bends), Liza Minnelli, and Musical Shrek Second Album. The tapes are housed in a variety of plastic jewel cases and stored within repurposed cardboard boxes, including one Sainsbury’s Cava box, and plastic document folders. The craft kit is a House of Crafts Creative Candle Making set, designed for making up to 20 fragranced candles. The kit remains in its original pictorial retail box.
Condition report:
Items are in used condition throughout. The audio cassette jewel cases exhibit various degrees of surface scratching and wear consistent with age. The candle making kit box is in poor condition, showing significant tearing to corners and edges, heavy wear, and age-related foxing and discolouration. The completeness of the candle making kit contents has not been verified.
