Lot 430: An Assortment of Vintage Cameras and Carrying Cases
A collection of vintage cameras and photographic accessories from various periods. The assortment includes a Kodak Instamatic 124 for 126 cartridge film, featuring a plastic body with a silver-tone metal faceplate. Included is a Memory Maker point-and-shoot camera with a black plastic body. There are two viewfinder cameras in the style of the Coronet 4×4, likely for 127 roll film, featuring grey plastic bodies and black faceplates; one unit is fitted with a red shutter release button. The lot also contains a vertical folding roll-film camera with black bellows and leatherette-covered body, featuring a metal bed plate with a partially legible inscription including the words The Folding. Accompanying the cameras are several period carrying cases in leather and faux-leather.
Condition report:
All items show signs of age and previous use. Cosmetic wear includes scuffs to plastic components and oxidation to metal parts. The leatherette on the folding camera shows minor lifting at the edges. Leather cases exhibit typical scuffing, surface wear, and aged patina; some stitching may be loose due to age. The equipment is sold as untested for mechanical or optical functionality.
