Buyer's Premium:

This lot comprises an assortment of Chinese blue and white porcelain items including five small jars and one framed decorative piece. The jars include four globular vessels decorated in the prunus or hawthorn pattern, featuring white plum blossoms reserved against a blue cracked ice ground with a geometric border at the neck. The fifth jar is of a compressed globular form and is decorated with scrolling floral and foliate motifs in underglaze blue. The base of the compressed globular jar bears a four-character apocryphal reign mark in underglaze blue within a double square reading Yongzheng Nian Zhi (雍正年制), which translates as Made in the reign of Yongzheng. The bases of the four prunus jars each feature double concentric circles in underglaze blue. The framed piece is a decorative plaque depicting a female figure in traditional blue and white robes holding a bird. The reverse of the wooden frame bears a gold foil label for Good Friends Pottery Arts, Singapore Handicraft Centre, Tanglin Road, Singapore. The inclusion of a four-digit postal code on the label indicates a manufacture date prior to September 1995.
