Lot 498: An Art Deco Style Sterling Silver, Cubic Zirconia and Synthetic Sapphire Cocktail Ring
An Art Deco revival cocktail ring constructed from sterling silver. The inner shank is stamped with the hallmark S925, indicating sterling silver, preceded by a small circular maker’s mark. The ring features an elevated, lozenge-shaped geometric head with milgrain-textured borders. The centre features a single round brilliant-cut clear stone, claw-set in a four-prong mount. This is surrounded by sixteen channel-set rectangular blue stones arranged in a cross-pattern, accented by numerous small round brilliant-cut clear stones. The shoulders are each grain-set with four small round clear stones. Given the sterling silver setting, the stones are likely to be cubic zirconia and synthetic sapphire.
