Lot 664: A Collection of Blue and White Ceramics and Ornamental Eggs
This lot comprises a collection of decorative items including blue and white glazed ceramics and a variety of ornamental eggs. The ceramic selection features a large plate decorated in the Chinoiserie style with central motifs of vases, incense burners, and bamboo shoots within a wide floral border. Also included is a large handled bowl with blue floral sprays on a white ground, a bird figurine with scrolling patterns, a small ovoid vase, and two cylindrical beakers with floral designs. The ornamental eggs consist of polished stone eggs in green and beige tones, a deep blue marbled glass egg, and decorated eggs. One of the decorated eggs features hand-painted pink roses on a pale ground, another shows floral blossoms on a dark brown ground, and another exhibits fine golden scrolling on a dark ground in the manner of Kashmiri lacquerware.
