A collection of eleven miniature glazed ceramic animal figurines in the style of Wade Whimsies. This assortment features various wild animal subjects typical of mid-20th-century ceramic premiums. The collection includes a standing lion, a bison, a koala with young on its back, a seated giraffe, a seated kangaroo, and a seated walrus. Additionally, the group contains two hippopotamuses finished in a tan/ochre glaze and three rhinoceroses, two in a light blue-grey glaze and one in a darker grey-brown glaze. These pieces are consistent in form and decoration with the series produced by Wade Ceramics for Red Rose Tea. No factory marks, model numbers, or signatures are visible on the figurines.
