Lot 681: A Group of Four 19th-Century English Ironstone and Porcelain Tableware Items
A collection of four English ceramic pieces featuring varied forms and decorative styles. The lot includes a round porcelain plate with a moulded scalloped edge, decorated with hand-painted polychrome floral sprays and a gilded rim. The reverse displays a green rectangular mark, attributed to Ashworth Bros, Hanley, alongside handwritten pattern numbers. Also present are two rectangular dishes with rounded corners, finished in a traditional Imari palette of underglaze cobalt blue and overglaze iron red with gilded highlights. Each dish features a central circular medallion containing stylised floral motifs. The collection is completed by a smaller rectangular dish with a vibrant hand-painted chinoiserie pattern depicting a floral garden scene.
