Lot 812: A Reproduction Georgian Style Mahogany Finish Breakfront Entertainment Unit
This is a one-piece low-profile entertainment unit or sideboard designed in the reproduction Georgian style. The unit features a mahogany-toned finish, likely comprising a combination of solid woods and veneers. It is constructed with a breakfront design, where the central section sits slightly forward of the flanking cupboards. The central compartment features a single glazed door with a shaped wooden frame, opening to reveal a single wooden interior shelf. This is flanked by two solid-doored cupboards. The top is finished with a carved gadrooned edge, and the door panels are decorated with classic moulding. The piece is supported by a shaped plinth base with a bracketed front apron. Hardware includes brass-effect swan-neck swing handles on the side doors and a coordinating vertical pull on the central door. A yellow handwritten inventory tag is attached to the hardware, reading 2010 / Entertainment Unit / Ros O. No permanent manufacturer marks or stamps are visible on the exterior surfaces.
