Lot 899: A Trio of Vintage Canvas-Covered Suitcases and a Wood-Bound Steamer Trunk
A collection of three travel cases consisting of two suitcases and a larger steamer trunk. The suitcases are constructed with canvas-covered exteriors and feature centrally mounted leather handles and metal latches. One suitcase retains a handwritten paper tag numbered 29 and a small white adhesive label. The steamer trunk at the base is designed with a light-coloured body reinforced by wooden slats and metal rivets, secured by three metal latches across the front. These items are characteristic of utility travel goods manufactured in the early to mid-20th century.
