Lot 922: Attributed to CP, Two Contemporary Textile Artworks depicting Landscapes (Signed)
Two framed contemporary textile artworks depicting landscape scenes. The first artwork is a horizontal piece featuring detailed embroidery or thread painting on fabric. The composition illustrates rolling agricultural fields and tree clusters in a soft palette of tan, green, and cream. The work is housed in a dark wood frame with a wide lilac-coloured mount and includes an embroidered monogram in the lower-left corner consisting of the intertwined letters CP. The second artwork is a square-format mixed media textile collage, created using layered and stitched strips of frayed fabric in blue, orange, and grey to represent geological strata or a cliff face. The base of the piece features numerous small, circular-stitched forms representing pebbles. This work is presented in a simple light blue-grey painted wooden frame. An auction lot tag numbered 922 is attached to the frame of the larger piece.
