Lot 941: A Rustic Pine Drop-Leaf Dining Table and Matching Ladder-Back Chair
A rustic dining suite comprising a drop-leaf table and a matching ladder-back chair, constructed from solid pine. The table features a rectangular top with twin drop leaves over a plain frame, supported by four square-section legs. The accompanying chair is designed with a ladder-back containing three shaped horizontal slats and topped with ball finials. The chair features a woven rush seat and turned legs connected by stretchers. The suite is finished with a warm wax that highlights the natural grain and knots of the wood. No maker’s marks or stamps are visible on either piece.
