Lot 971: Vintage Frontier Fort Cheyenne Play Set
A mid-20th-century vintage toy fort, themed as Fort Cheyenne. The structure is constructed from thin wooden slats and plywood, featuring a Western frontier design with crenelated perimeter walls and a double-gate main entrance featuring two hinged doors. The interior contains a raised walkway and a central two-storey blockhouse or watchtower with a pitched roof. The entire structure is mounted on a painted wooden baseboard depicting a simple landscape in shades of green and ochre to simulate grass and earth. A white sign with red block lettering reading FORT CHEYENNE is mounted above the gateway. The set includes a small fabric American flag on a wooden pole attached to the interior platform. No manufacturer markings or labels are visible on the structure.
