Lot 33: A Pair of Vintage Industrial Triple-Sheave Metal Pulley Blocks
A pair of heavy-duty industrial triple-sheave pulley blocks, traditionally used as part of a block and tackle lifting system. The lot contains two distinct units of cast iron and steel construction. One block features a large circular top eye and retains remnants of red paint on the frame. The other block is heavily oxidised and features a large swivel hook at the base with a smaller eyelet at the top. Each block houses three internal metal sheaves. There are no visible manufacturer’s marks, patent dates, or weight capacity ratings due to the level of surface corrosion. The lot includes a paper tag inscribed 2 x Metal Pulleys and an auction sticker for HCP Auctions South West Lot 033.
