Lot 557: A Collection of Anthropomorphic Rabbit Figurines by Pendelfin
A collection of four hand-painted anthropomorphic rabbit figurines, from Pendelfin Stonecraft. The assortment features various domestic and celebratory scenes: a rabbit in blue overalls standing beside a wooden crate holding a ceramic-style jug; a rabbit seated in a rocking chair wearing a red and white polka-dot dress and a straw hat while knitting; a birthday-themed composite figurine featuring two rabbits with a tiered cake marked with the number 10 and a banner inscribed Happy Birthday, with the base further inscribed Family Circle; and a smaller standing rabbit dressed in a green dress holding a bouquet of flowers. The items are crafted from cold-cast resin with a matte painted finish. The Family Circle figurine is a known promotional piece from the early 1990s.
Condition report:
The figurines are in good overall condition. No chips, cracks, or signs of restoration are visible. The hand-painted finish remains vibrant with only minimal surface wear consistent with age.
