A large decorative glass vessel in the form of an oversized brandy balloon or snifter. The piece is crafted from deep petrol blue-coloured glass and features blown optic-moulded vertical ribbing that creates a rhythmic pattern around the body. It is supported by a short stem leading to a wide, flat circular foot. This form and colour are characteristic of mid-20th-century decorative glassware, often associated with production in regions such as Empoli, Italy, or Scandinavia, although no maker’s marks or signatures are present. The item currently bears a printed adhesive sticker for HCP Auctions South West, Lot 575, and a piece of masking tape with the handwritten number 3442.
