Lot 85: A Collection of Mixed Hand Tools and Builders Hardware
This lot comprises an assortment of hand tools and builders hardware contained within a yellow plastic storage crate. The collection includes woodworking equipment such as a traditional wooden marking gauge with a brass thumbscrew and a large vintage spiral auger bit. Builders hardware is represented by two retail packs of Travis Perkins Light Tee Hinges in black, measuring 203mm (8 inches), and a small green box of TIMco hardware. Striking tools include a modern mallet with a dual-coloured blue and black head on a wooden handle and a small wooden-handled hammer. Also present is a caulking gun frame, a yellow-handled screwdriver, a retractable utility knife, various pliers, a metal rod, and a large metal hook. Cleaning items include a wire brush and a blue plastic brush handle embossed with the name Colgate Total. Several black metal strap brackets and a clear plastic bag containing a quantity of circular metal washers are also included. The crate bears auction labels with the numbers 085, Res 10, and 3291. The materials consist of steel, wood, plastic, and brass.
