Lot 164: Vintage Petrol Cylinder Lawnmower Attributed to Suffolk
This vintage petrol-powered cylinder lawnmower is attributed to the manufacturer Suffolk, featuring design characteristics consistent with the Punch or Colt models. The machine is constructed with a cast-metal chassis finished in green paint, housing a six-blade cutting cylinder painted red. It is equipped with a small single-cylinder petrol engine featuring a red-painted metal shroud and silver-toned cooling fins. A segmented front roller is positioned at the front of the cutting unit. The handle is formed from red tubular metal. Stamped identification characters on the engine block appear to read 0C 24179 or GC 24179. A green and white sticker with the handwritten number 164 is present on the engine shroud. The lot includes a large detachable green plastic grass collection box.
