Lot 193: A Trio of British Military Canvas Field Equipment Items
A collection of British military field gear comprising three distinct components. The first is a heavy-duty olive drab canvas roll, designed to carry metal frame poles, possibly for a bivouac or field cot. It is secured by two integrated canvas webbing straps with metal buckles. The second item is a red fabric roll, likely a signal flag or marker banner, wrapped around similar metal support rods. The third component is a large, off-white canvas kit bag of a standard military pattern with a drawstring closure. The kit bag is clearly stamped in black ink with the service number 1375005 above the name EVES. Additionally, the name WESSON is handwritten in blue marker. A woven commercial-style tag is attached to the bag, featuring a Union Flag and the text Made in Great Britain, suggesting a post-WWII production date.
