Lot 203: Red Industrial Steel Convertible Appliance Hand Truck Attributed to Stevens
A red-painted steel industrial convertible appliance hand truck and integrated step ladder, attributed to the Stevens Appliance Truck Company. This unit features a four-rung ladder built into the frame, enabling its use as a mobile step stool or a heavy-duty sack barrow. The chassis is equipped with two large fixed solid rubber wheels at the base and two smaller swivel casters mounted higher on the rails for multi-position manoeuvrability. It includes two curved handles with textured black rubber grips and a central rod with a spring-loaded locking mechanism. A solid metal loading plate is situated at the base. No manufacturer labels, model numbers, or load capacity decals are visible on the frame. No safety certifications or weight limit ratings were observed.
